Nightborn

When I first saw the miniature, I knew I wanted to create a minimalistic diorama of Lady Annika in black, white and red, set in the haunting world of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. From the start, the idea was to keep the base simple — almost bare — allowing her presence to dominate the scene.

In the early sketches, Lady Annika stood alone on a polished marble floor. The candelabra and carpet were later additions, subtle touches that enriched the atmosphere without breaking the intended minimalism.

The palette of black, white, and red reinforces her ethereal and noble aura — a fitting tribute to the Soulblight Gravelords of the Mortal Realms. Her flowing white gown contrasts sharply against the dark tones, evoking purity, death, and vampiric allure in equal measure.
