The Panzer II was a light tank developed in Germany in the 1930s. At the end of 1942 it was withdrawn from the battle front and production of the tank ceased completely in 1943, although its chassis was used for other armored vehicles.
The Panzer II Ausf. F was designed as a reconnaissance tank.
