The Fieseler Fi-103 V-1 was the first flying bomb and precursor to modern cruise missiles, developed by Germany to attack Allied targets. It was launched from ground ramps or He 111 bombers and was known as the “retaliation weapon” and “buzzing bomb” because of its distinctive sound.
This V1 flying bomb was used between June 1944 and March 1945 launched from platforms located in the coastal area of France against targets southeast of England and Belgium.

Tamiya kit in 1:48 scale. Built out of the box. The diorama has been sculpted and painted on a sleek black base.
The paint on the model has a very weathered finish to represent the passage of months outdoors, with the apparatus exposed to rain, air and sun.
