The character poses among the skeleton of some ruins with her sword unsheathed in her hands. The night illumination symbolizes the decline of the elves and the end of the Fourth Age.

The Fourth Age ended the time of the Elves in Middle-earth and Arwen was one of the last of her people to inhabit the land. She chose death instead of setting sail westward to the lands of Valinor along with her people.

This miniature is from the Games Workshop metal range, in 28mm, on a hand-made diorama and a wooden base. The total dimensions of the scene are 5x5x18cm. Painted to a professional standard and has won several painting awards in various competitions.
